Question & ANSWER
How would you describe your music style? At club and corporate events, I always play cross-genre and, above all, very danceable music. Since the guests at weddings are very different, it is important to cater to the different tastes musically during the evening. In general, I am very open to certain styles of music, but I always try to maintain a certain level that I feel comfortable with. My goal is to get you and your guests on the dance floor with good danceable music and keep them there. This is definitely NOT done by encouraging the guests via microphone.
Can we decide before the event what music we don't want to hear? Of course. You can tell me individual songs and genres that you definitely don't want to hear. If your guests want exactly these songs or genres that evening, I will politely decline.
Is it possible to meet with you beforehand and discuss the event? Yes, of course! This meeting will give both you and me a clear idea of whether I am the right DJ for you. I am not the DJ who just plays songs - I always want to make sure that your expectations match my approach. By the way, this preliminary meeting is completely non-binding and free of charge. It can take place in Düsseldorf, via Teams or by phone if you cannot come to Düsseldorf. While I mainly DJ in NRW, I am also happy to take on events throughout Germany and Europe. However, I ask that you only arrange this meeting if my services basically fit into your planned budget.
Is there anything to consider when choosing a venue? I would always advise you to check beforehand whether there are any noise restrictions on site. Especially if the party aspect is particularly important to you, I would put the statements of the person in charge of the venue in writing. There are often venues that have strict noise restrictions but do not communicate this to their customers in advance, or at least make it seem less of a problem than it actually is.
How far in advance should we book you? The sooner the better. If I'm already booked on the day of your event, I can definitely help you and recommend a great colleague.
Can we also rent equipment or just book you as a DJ? Both are possible: You can book me as a DJ, as well as the appropriate equipment if the location requires it, or just the event technology. I will be happy to send you further details by email. Please note that I cannot guarantee the sound quality if you use the equipment from the location. You should send me a technical sheet of the equipment used in advance.
What happens if you get sick shortly before the event? As I have played and still play in many clubs in NRW and elsewhere, I know a large number of DJs that I could call on in an emergency. Incidentally, this emergency has never occurred, I was always there as agreed. I know that many DJs have a reputation for being unreliable, but for me it goes without saying that I always show up on time and as agreed!
What about music requests from guests at our event? I am generally open to music requests and try to incorporate them into the flow and timing of the evening. Even though there is no "wrong" song, a song can definitely be played at the wrong moment. If I feel that a requested song is particularly unsuitable for the mood at that time, I will politely suggest an alternative to the guest.
How is payment arranged? If you accept my offer, I will send you my contract and a down payment invoice for 25% of the order value. I will send you the invoice for the remaining amount after the event with a payment deadline of 30 days.
